Learning Goal: I’m working on a business question and need an explanation and answer to help me learn.

Organize with your assigned teams and review the ranked countries on the below Economic Freedom index site. Select Three (3) countries from the list. Be sure to select only one country from each segmented ranking. Once your team has identified the countries of choice, send an email to the professor to be approved. Approvals will be given on a first come first served basis. No group will review the same country.

Step 1: Go to https://www.heritage.org/index/ranking (Links to an external site.)

Step 2: Select a total of Three (3) countries

        1. One (1) max, from each rating classification. I.e. One Country from Free, One country from Moderately Fee, One Country from Repressed

Step 3: Email Three Choices for approved (first come first served to avoid duplication)

Step 4: In essay formatcompare and contrast the differences from each country,

        1. Be sure to review the same variables in each country analysis
        2. Describe the countries selected, identify their ratings, and any unexpected findings?
        3. What are the impacts of the economic freedoms/restrictions on the local community? Are conditions getting better, or worse?
        4. Is there any impact on the U.S.?

    • The extent and nature of government intervention in the economy
    • Monetary policy, capital flows and investment
    • Banking and financial activities
    • Wage and price levels

Be sure to clearly indicate/subtitle selected countries within submission

    • Two (2) page minimum [Page count does not included title page. Two full pages is reached by going 2 sentences into the third page]
    • Times New Roman, 12-point font, Double spaced, one inch margins all around
      • Title page (Assignment Title, Team member names, course title, and date)
    • Include a “Works Cited” page using the APA guidelines, (http://www.apastyle.org (Links to an external site.))
