Persuasive Writing Assignment
In general, persuasive writing is defined as any writing that seeks to convince or influence someone to accept a new idea or engage in a new course of action. Read the Case 8.10 in your textbook (Entitled: Four-Day Weekend Now). After reading the Case, this is your task (Note: disregard the Task outlined in your textbook):
Write a persuasive letter to your boss requesting that the firm reconsider their policy so it aligns with that of other companies. Please use Figure 8.2 as your formatting guide. Be sure to use the full array of appeals and persuasive tactics to make your case. Your employer’s info is as follows:
