For this week, I would like you to imagine the deaths/ events in “Alien” sociologically. Like this week’s reading by Wallace where he analyzes the virology of the Bird Flu from a political- economic standpoint (wink, wink), I would like you to imagine the deaths in Alien in a similar way. For this weeks critical reflection, pretend that “Alien” is actually a sociology lesson that parallels Wallace’s article: Imagine that the alien is the same as the “Bird Flu” : How would Wallace imagine the deaths in the film if he used the same approach he used for the “Bird Flu?” Complete the critical reflection  Download critical reflection as if you were Wallace, and the the alien and the ” Bird Flu” are analogous . Instead of two readings, now you have one reading and a film. Treat the film like it was another Wallace article. Video lesson coming soon!
